Scripture: 1 Corinthians 7:1-16

All of 1 Corinthians 7 give wisdom about marriage, singleness and how believers should be thinking about and operating in these situations. One writer says the unifying theme of the various commands is: “to prioritize pure and undistracted devotion to the Lord.” Today we will look at the first four situations and teaching of the chapter. 1st, married believers should maintain intimacy, 2nd unmarried believers should consider if God has gifted them to be single, 3rd married believers should not divorce, and 4th believer’s married to unbelievers should remain married if possible.
